Project background: In celebration of 100 Years of Gran Via in Madrid, NYC & Company partnered with Madrid to rename Broadway 'Gran Via' for the day and sign a City to City partnership.

Photo: Added bonus was being able to meet Oscar the Grouch and the man behind the puppet - Carroll Spinney. Carroll was the commencement speaker for Villanova University in 2004 when Ondria graduated.
Project background: In honor of the release of 'Where the Wild Things Are', NYC & Company created a week's worth of events which included renaming a Greenwich Village Street 'Maurice Sendak Way'.
